Fleet Asset Performance Specialist

What you’ll do: Demonstrate a steadfast commitment to safety through demonstration of behaviours, actions, discussions, decision, risk manager and other opportunities on a daily basis.Drive execution of FCL’s Fleet Maintenance Program to ensure that required equipment inspections, maintenance, and repairs are completed within defined intervals and complies with applicable federal, provincial, and municipal regulatory requirements and corporate policy.Coordinate and schedule both in-house and third-party inspections and repairs to fleet assets with a focus on increased value and operational efficiency.Support execution of FCL’s Fleet Asset Renewal Program across Petroleum, Merchandise, and Lumber commodities.Fully collaborate in the execution of internal and external audits.Ensure records for all FCL commercially registered vehicles are in compliance.Who you’ll work with:The Team: You will work closely with the Transportation operations management teams and will report into the Supervisor, Fleet Asset Performance. The Collaborators: You will work closely with other functions in our Supply Chain business unit and collaborate across the organization with teams such as Lease Operators, Fleet Safety & Compliance team and local Co-ops.Why it matters:We help feed Western Canada by providing fresh groceries and wholesale solutions to independent retail stores, restaurants and other food establishments in communities large and small.Who you are:You are looking for a career in Supply Chain and:Have 6-9 years of experience in the transportation industry required Have a two year Diploma or Journeyman certificate in a mechanical trade (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).Comprehensive knowledge on CSA B620 is an asset.Relevant training courses in safety, emergency response and regulatory systems are an asset.What we offer:Competitive wages and an employer-contributed pension plan.An opportunity to work overtime and earn time and a halfEncouragement to take advantage of learning opportunities to grow and develop as a Team Member.
