Role Overview As a Refrigeration Technician – Chiller Specialist, you will take part in the commissioning, maintenance, repair, installation, and servicing of commercial and industrial chillers, including scroll, screw, and centrifugal systems. You will work under the supervision of the commissioning team to ensure optimal system performance and client satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Diagnose and troubleshoot operational issues on customer HVAC and chiller systems. Communicate findings, service details, and recommendations clearly to clients. Work with your team lead to identify and promote additional service or upgrade opportunities. Prepare service documentation, project reports, and quotations. Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on air conditioning and chiller equipment. Comply with all safety procedures and site regulations. Continuously enhance your technical knowledge through training and certification programs. Maintain all required professional certifications and licenses. Contribute to team success through knowledge sharing and a strong commitment to quality workmanship. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of field service experience in HVAC or refrigeration Valid Refrigeration Mechanic Journeyman Certification (Compagnon Frigoriste) Strong knowledge of HVAC and building systems (asset) Excellent verbal and written communication skills Demonstrated leadership and teamwork capabilities Strong customer service orientation and ability to work effectively with diverse teams Valid driver’s license Proficiency with digital tools and service documentation software Bilingual (French and English) communication is considered an asset For more information about this position please contact Rick Supersad at rick.supersad@artech.com
