Solving one layer of the value chain won’t move the needle on adoption. Mass adoption will come when it becomes a no-brainer for homeowners to transition. That is why Jetson is building the first fully vertically integrated home electrification company. Jetson will make it simple, transparent and affordable for everyone to get a heat pump.Job Overview:We are looking for an extremely motivated and passionate HVAC lead installer who would like to be a part of an exciting new company looking to fight climate change through disrupting the residential HVAC industry. As the lead of an install crew, we are looking for individuals with deep residential install experience to help guide lesser experienced HVAC installers and apprentices. You will be responsible for removing gas furnaces and installing heat pump systems, and collaborating with engineering teams on how the product can be improved and the install process streamlined. You will also provide best in class service to our customers. Responsibilities:Remove existing HVAC equipmentInstall new heat pump systemsPerform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning and replacing filtersTest heat pump systems to ensure proper functionalityFollow blueprints, schematics, and building codes when installing or repairing systemsCollaborate with other technicians and engineering teams on the product and processesProvide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and answering questionsTrain team members on the Jetson equipment and install proceduresRequirements:You’re ideally a Red Seal Licensed HVAC/R Journeyman Proven experience as an install team member and team leadGas B Ticket Heat Pump installation experience preferredStrong knowledge of HVAC systemsAbility to read blueprints and schematicsFamiliarity with building codes and regulationsExcellent problem-solving skillsExcellent English communications and customer service skillsJob Type: Full-time, Monday - Friday Pay: $42 - $50 per hour Benefits:Dental CareExtended Health CareVision CareLife InsuranceDisability Insurance Education Support Do you feel like you don't have everything that's listed above but can still do the job?
