Description:ATCO Frontec is seeking rd/th Year Apprentice Plumbers to join our ATCO Facilities Solutions team in Calgary AB and in Edmonton AB, working on a project with several properties across the Calgary and Edmonton area.The Apprentice Plumber is responsible for preventative and corrective maintenance, inspections, modifications, and installation/dismantling of plumbing systems. The successful candidate must be willing to work after hours and on weekends as required. Tools, uniforms, PPE, work cellphone, and a company vehicle will be provided for work duties.Responsibilities:• Conduct timely inspections, testing, and accurate reporting of equipment defects and deficiencies• Replace toilets, bathroom and kitchen sinks, and bathtubs• Utilize power auger for toilet, bathtub, and main lines• Replace hot water tanks and furnaces (, & , BTU)• Ensure all installations, repairs, and maintenance are properly sized, aligned, supported, and graded• Guarantee all installations, repairs, and maintenance meet the requirements of the appropriate codes, as well as environmental protection requirements• Qualifications:• Registered rd / th year Plumber Apprenticeship is required and must be currently active • Class license and clean drivers abstract is required• Must be able to pass a Drug & Alcohol Test, Fit-to-Work Test, and Extensive Background Check.• Must be able to obtain Government Security Clearance.• Strong verbal and written communication skills• Able to read drawings and blueprints• Ability to build and work in a team environment is crucial along with a strong commitment to personal and team safetyWe would like to thank everyone for their application; however, only those being considered for an interview will be contacted.This position has been identified as safety sensitive and will require completion of a pre-employment alcohol & drug test, fit to work medical test and criminal record check.Who We Are:• ATCO Frontec is a market leader providing facilities management, camp services, workforce lodging solutions, operational support services and disaster and emergency management for a diverse range of clients.
