Tiercon is seeking knowledgeable, self-directed, experienced and hardworking individuals interested in the automotive industry as a Quality Auditor at our 591 Arvin Ave. Stoney Creek facility.Job Summary & Reporting Structure:Reporting to the Quality Manager, the Quality Auditor is to audit and inspect production process for proper adherence to pre-assigned quality requirements.Responsibilities:Packaging and label checks (EOPL, Moulding, Assembly)Inspection of parts, process and assembly (Mould, EOPL, Assembly)Reaction Mode: Escalation of quality issued as directed.Follow the containment processIdentify and Report scrap and rework productParticipate in the SCAR process as required.Participate in Fast Response Meetings as required.Conduct Layered Audits of work areas as scheduled and take appropriate action.Colour match to standard (EOPL, Assembly)Fit to gauge/fixture (Moulding, Assembly)Match to appearance standard boundary samples (EOPL, Assembly, Moulding)Provide documented verification of quality audits per part number/shift basis (EOPL, Moulding)Conduct Layered Audits of work areas as scheduled and take appropriate actionAssist with trials when requiredPackaging and label checks (EOPL, Moulding, Assembly)Assist in production reject analysis (EOPL, Moulding, Assembly)Assist with trials when required (EOPL, Moulding)Assist production supervisor with ongoing quality issues, reject rate causes and instructions to operators including quality alerts caused by customer complaints (EOPL, Moulding, Assembly)Calibrating Inspectors / Operators verify inspector/ operator knowledge (EOPL, Moulding, Assembly)Provide documented verification of quality audits per part number/shift basis (EOPL, Moulding)Assist with implementation, IATF 16949: 2016 responsibilities as per IATF 16949:2016 Quality Manual. (EOPL, Moulding, Assembly)Training of inspectors / operators on quality standards (EOPL, Moulding, Assembly)Maintain cleanliness and keep updated all quality areas including boundary sample boards, auditing areas and fixture areas (EOPL, Mould, Assembly)Assist with other quality related activities as required.Qualifications:Grade 12 or 2 years College in Quality / Manufacturing / Engineering related field or equivalent experience is an assetMinimum 1 year of manufacturing experience, automotive experience preferredAnalytical skills, Data drivenEffective communicationDemonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft ApplicationsDemonstrated working knowledge of hand tools and gauging equipmentAttention to detailCapable of working all shifts.
