We are looking for an Operations Supervisor to join our sales team and help us continue our mission of transforming lives through mobility solutions. Scope As an Operations Supervisor, the employee ensures operational excellence by performing managerial tasks.  Position Reports To: Area Manager  Role and Responsibilities/Essential Functions Supervisor Responsibilities: • In addition to your current job description, the following will be in addition as supervisor • Provide operational support for all team members • Assist in onboarding of new staff, provide mentorship • Assist with development of process improvements • Manage employee time efficiencies, approve weekly timesheets • Assist in managing employee vacation requests and arrange suitable coverage. • Assist in supervision of all operations staff (customer service, field techs, service techs, warehouse personnel, and purchasing) to ensure staff are performing in accordance with the standards required for their position. Supervision of outside sales staff to ensure they are performing in accordance with Company objectives. • Assist with input in staff reviews. • Assist in hiring procedure: review resume's, assist in conducting interviews and hiring decisions. • Input in staff discipline to maintain including addressing absenteeism, tardiness, underperformance of duties including rendering of any decision to terminate employees. Customer Service Representative Responsibilities: • Greet and assist in-store customers. • Assist customers with the selection of suitable equipment. • Answer phone calls to provide helpful solutions and set up deliveries of equipment to customers’ homes. • Establish a working relationship with therapists and other healthcare professionals for equipment demos, trials, or rentals. • Organize repairing services for wheelchairs, lifts, and other medical equipment over the phone. • Prepare quotes, send emails, schedule appointments, and maintain client records. • Track down medical equipment from the other locations. • Administer the equipment reservation and rental process. This requires a lot of attention to detail, in-depth understanding of our computer system and your best paperwork organization skills. • Record customer deliveries, billings, reservations, and service, preparing work orders, customer orders, etc. Other duties as assigned that include inventory or any other task. Competencies/Skills • A minimum 4 years of experience in a related role • Keen attention to detail, strong oral and written communication skills • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills • Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. • Work well under pressure and easily adapt to changes in priorities to meet program needs • Multi-task and work independently with minimal direction • Take initiative, anticipate potential problems/conflicts and take appropriate action • Remain calm when communicating in difficult situations • Maintain a professional work environment Why Join NSM?
