We offer competitive earning potential, employee discounts on water sport rentals, discounted food & beverage at all our Argus Properties Ltd. owned restaurants and hotels, fun social events, and great colleaguesPosition SummaryPool Attendants are responsible for overseeing the Eldorado Resort pools and hot tubs, as well as supporting other departments (Housekeeping and Food & Beverage) in providing an enjoyable and safe experience for all patrons in the swimming areas.What will you be doing?You will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standard:Monitors guests in the outdoor poolConverse with guests and answer guest questionsSanitizes pool furniture between guestsManages pool towel stocking and ensures Housekeeping laundry rotation is promptInspects facilities for cleanliness; completes general pool cleaning and maintenance dutiesFollow emergency action plans and procedures established in the event of an emergencyMaintains order in the pool and adjoining areasProvides general information on resort & pool operation to guestsAbility to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidaysWhat are we looking for?To successfully fill this role, the Pool Attendant should maintain the attitude, behaviors, skills, and values that follow: Guest service focused – previous experience in a guest service-related role would be an advantageKnowledge of pool equipment and maintenanceAbility to react quickly and calmly in emergencies - knowledge of CPR is an assetAvailable to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidaysPerksEmployee discounts on accommodations, dining and marina at our sister properties (Hotel Eldorado, Manteo Resort, Eldorado Marina, Hampton Inn & Suites Kelowna Airport, Four Points Kelowna, Home2Suites)An excellent work environment, with a focus on staff recognition and teambuildingRoom for growth and development Don't miss this exciting opportunity to join our Eldorado Resort family
