Job Posting WAHA TV Specialist SPEND YOUR SUMMER AT CAMP WAHANOWIN  Location: 6726 Rama Rd, Longford Mills, ON L0K 1L0, 1.5 hours from Toronto  Contract Length: Variable, as we run a spring and fall Outdoor Education Centre in addition to our summer programs. Start date: June 20, 2026 (Spring Availability possible- April 26 start date)  End Date: August 30, 2026 (Fall Availability possible- Oct 7 end date)  Room and Board: provided with all positions- all cabins have plumbing and electricity. Laundry Service also provided to all staff.  Salary: Competitive pay, based on experience Camp Wahanowin is a children’s overnight summer camp nestled on 100 acres of scenic wilderness on the shores of Lake Couchiching in Orillia, Ontario. Work, play, and make memories that last a lifetime—right here at camp REMEMBER THE MOMENTS, CAPTURE IT SHARE IT.As Head of Waha TV, you will be a member of our WAHA marketing team as well as oversee a small, creative team of 3 to capture the magic of camp and share it with the world You’ll managethe production of short video clips for social media, highlight special events, and help tell the story of life at Camp Wahanowin. This role is perfect for someone who loves storytelling, video production, and working in a fast-paced, fun environment. Experience with video editing and use of DSLR camera required. The Head of Specialty plays an integral role at camp by being part of our Senior Staff Team and being a role model to others through upholding the Wahanowin values of respect, growth, community, and tradition. This person is responsible for managing their activity, which includes supervising, organizing, teaching, and motivating both staff members and campers at their specific activity area. The success of this objective is significantly dependent on the Head of Specialty’s ability to lead and work as a team with their activity staff to create fun and creative skill-based programming for the kids that attend. The Head of Specialty is ultimately responsible for both the success of their activity and for some, providing a significant contribution as a staff member within their assigned unit. The responsibilities are more specifically outlined below:  AT THE SPECIALTY AREA Maintain your activity area Strive to keep the activity area clean, organized, and SAFE Report any maintenance needed to the Activity Coordinator  Responsible for the care and upkeep of equipment Ensure that all equipment is used properly and with respect PROGRAM The program for the activity should be well thought out, having regard for: Program Curriculum – allowing for creativity and changes in camper interest as the situation warrants. Progression – Track the performance of each camper’s skill development and provide increasingly challenging opportunities through the level system provided Engagement – it should be safe & fun SKILL DEVELIOPMENT Empower campers and staff to engage in your activity through teaching them foundational/basic skills Implement the Camp Wahanowin level system that rewards campers for increasing achievement and skill development  Submit level achievements at each meal to be announced in the dining hall  APPLY TODAY
