There may be a chance to work overtime (this may include extended hours/ weekends and night shift) if site requires. As an Apprentice Carpenter, you will: Assist in building forms for concreteCut, shape, and join specialty materials per specificationsLook for and fix deficienciesCheck accuracy of work, and makes adjustments as requiredStudy blueprints for work planningConstruct and forms chutes for pouring concreteErect scaffolding and ladders for assembling structures above ground levelInform immediate supervisor of abnormalities or defects and/or takes appropriate measuresLoading/unloading materialsPerform labourer duties in addition to carpentry workMaintain clean, organized work areas; remove debris and hazards; support end-of-shift cleanup Requirements: Preference will be given to Registered Carpenter Apprentice from a recognized provincial training authorityNon-registered carpenters must provide proof of hours relevant to the industrial Carpentry trade Certifications: CSTS & WHMISFall Protection is an assetAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamDescribe and point out safety compliance and regulatory issuesMust be legally entitled to work in Canada  COME AND GET YOUR BOOTS DIRTY With a significant presence in the construction, industrial maintenance, and turnaround sectors, Jardeg is the largest recruiter of skilled trades in Canada.
