Telesat is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Analyst to support a range of strategic activities across commercial initiatives, corporate development, and executive-level projects. This role is ideal for someone with strong research, analytical, and communication skills who is eager to contribute to high-impact work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This is a highly dynamic role perfectly suited for someone who is ambitious, results oriented, looking to grow their skills and do something meaningful every day. Main Responsibilities:Conduct structured research and analysis to support market entry strategies, particularly in developing economiesIdentify, track, and pursue funding opportunities to catalyze Telesat’s go-to-market successDevelop strategic partnerships with national, regional, and international organizations to support emerging market go-to-marketPrepare high-quality materials for internal and external stakeholders, including presentations, briefing decks, and strategic proposalsContribute to internal coordination and data analysis for sales planning initiatives, corporate development, and other ad-hoc requestsSupport cross-functional teams with data synthesis, stakeholder coordination, and project trackingEducation and Experience Required:University degree in a relevant discipline, such as commerce/business administration, international relations, global development, or economics3-5 years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, business analysis, global development, or related rolesExceptional research and analytical skills, with the ability to structure and synthesize complex informationProficiency in data analysis and interpretation to support strategic decision-makingAdvanced PowerPoint skills with a strong eye for structure, clarity, and visual storytellingExcellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly in producing concise, high-impact executive materialsStrong relationship-building and stakeholder coordination capabilities across internal and external teamsAdditional Skills:Knowledge of international development landscape, including key international organizations, development banks, and global non-profitsExperience working in development finance or with funding mechanisms in emerging marketsExperience collaborating across cross-functional teams, including sales, government relations, and corporate developmentKnowledge in space and adjacent sectors such as telecommunications or defenceWorking Conditions:Office work at Telesat headquarters in Ottawa, ON Off-hours work occasionally required Occasional travel The successful candidate must be able to work in Canada and obtain a Reliability Status Government clearance.
