We are looking for a junior to intermediate Project Controller, to join our project controls team. This is an opportunity where the right person can work from our Vancouver, Misssissauga, Saskaoon or Niagara Falls office. The EPCM Controller plays a key role in supporting the successful delivery of EPCM services by providing accurate, timely information for performance management and project controls. This role oversees time and cost control systems, performance measurement, progress tracking, and reporting. You will work closely with project leaders to validate data, monitor variances, and support informed decision‑making throughout the project lifecycle. What you bring Safety Demonstrate a strong personal commitment to safety. Follow all safety protocols, report incidents, and proactively address unsafe behaviours. EPCM Controls & Performance Management Set up and maintain project timesheet systems, including charge codes, WBS structures, and budgets. Collect, validate, and consolidate progress and work‑hour data (including JV partner hours when applicable). Establish and maintain EPCM performance measurement baselines, including hour/cost estimates and progress curves. Generate, verify, and distribute EPCM performance reports, ensuring data accuracy and resolving discrepancies. Forecasting & Staffing Maintain EPCM staffing plans. Collaborate with discipline leads to forecast hours‑to‑go and estimate at completion based on performance trends. Ensure EPCM budgets and forecasts align with project change and trend registers. Qualifications & Experience Essential Tertiary qualification in engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent project experience. Experience working in a multidisciplinary project environment. Knowledge of change and trend management, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and estimating. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Proficiency with MS Office; SAP experience is an asset. Preferred Understanding of EPCM principles and ability to interpret incentive agreements. Strong time management, planning, and organizational skills. Solid written and verbal communication skills, including report writing and presentation Base salary range: $72,000 - $105,000 At Hatch, we are committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
