Consider a career with us in and help Canadians reach their financial and life goals.Reporting to the Director of Research and Portfolio Manager, the Equity Research Intern will: Be assigned a discrete industry sector and group of stocks (approximately 3-8) to analyze.Conduct fundamental and in-depth research to make, buy and sell recommendations on stocks.Have full and sole responsibility for those stocks and access to all resources available to a full-time Analyst.Access to Equity Analysts covering related sectors and assigned a Portfolio Manager mentor.Have regular communication with a Director in Equities. Training resources are available as required.Identify key drivers and generate high-conviction conclusions on the outcome of each driver and resulting impact on stock performance.Clearly articulate the analysis in written notes and slides, presenting final conclusions to our Equity Analysts and Portfolio Managers.What We’re Looking ForAn avid interest and intellectual curiosity about the market, demonstrated through academic career, prior work experience and/or personal investingA high degree of motivation, initiative, and a tireless enthusiasm for discovering new investment opportunitiesExcellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skillsStrong work ethic and desire to make an impactAble to think logically, critically & quicklyTeam player with a positive attitudePlease include the following in your application:Cover LetterCurrent Resume (1 page is preferred), including your overall GPA for each school you attendedTranscripts (Unofficial)To be considered for this role, you must be eligible to work in Canada.
