This person will desire to work on creating innovative, practical solutions to various infrastructure projects out of our new Halifax office.Position Overview:The Engineering Manager, Bridges and Marine, will assist in advancing the growth of our practice by taking a leadership role of our Halifax team. You will lead feasibility studies and designs of infrastructure along the most important corridors in our regions, cities and towns across the Atlantic Provinces. Assignments will address design, FEA modeling, inspections and construction services. There will be opportunities to progress projects to preliminary and detailed design, tender, and construction.Your knowledge of bridge design methods, goals and objectives will be instrumental in helping us win new work and execute projects to the clients’ satisfaction. You will be responsible for working with our senior management to identify new opportunities within the Maritimes, be instrumental in developing proposals and helping us win opportunities. You will plan and define project / program goals and devise methods to accomplish them, as well as coordinate projects through all project phases from inception, planning, design, construction and closeout.
