We are currently hiring a part-time Assistant Pastry Chef to join our team in Milton. Candidates must have flexibility and be available to work during the week, on the weekends & holidays and to start work as early as 6:00am. In this role, the successful candidate will have a passion for making delicious desserts and a passion to learn. The role is focussed on assisting the pastry team and will involve cleaning and dishwashing. What You Will Do: Assist pastry team with various food prep needs; Responsible for cleaning and dishwashing; Assist with pastry assembly and finishing; Assist with cookies - rolling, cutting, finishing; Assist with other baked goods - assembly/finishing Assist with creating edible decorative fondant/chocolate pieces Assist pastry chefs as required/directed Qualifications: 1-2 years of related work experience Baking/mixing/assembling knowledge Attention to detail Enjoy working with a team La Rose is an equal opportunity employer.
