We AIM for excellence.What we offer:A competitive wage starting at $30/hourVacation, benefits and RRSP matching programAIM Tuition Assistance ProgramThe tools and support needed to be successful in your career and professional development A dynamic & rewarding work environment that is also a lot of funJob DescriptionWe are currently seeking a motivated individual to join our team in Hamilton, Ontario As an Inbound Material Coordinator, you will ensure that proper procedures are being followed by the inspection team members for productivity, quality control, and safety.What you're responsible for:Identifying inbound material grades, non-conformities, non-recyclable and hazardous material in inbound loadsEffectively and successfully training productivity, quality control and safety measures as established and set for the Inspection TeamFacilitating and directing trucks to correct yard locations in an efficient mannerPerforming Daily Checks (Pile Quality, Truck Inspection, Gate Cleanliness, Overnight Loads)Providing feedback to production about material quality or sale specificationsCoordinating quick action for loads that need to be sorted and dealt with in a timely fashionCommunicating with supervisors and commercial team about downgrades and deductionsAssisting in the implementation of training programs to train external team members on quality and proceduresReviewing outbound sales to ensure quality specifications are metQualificationsTo join our team:You are experienced in working around heavy equipmentYou are comfortable with working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditionsYou have a high school diploma or equivalentYou have working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)You have strong communication, leadership, and organizational skillsYou have strong attention to detail and good work ethic
