**About the role**:
Reporting to the Logistics Manager, the Materials Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating consistent flow of materials and ensuring there is appropriate inventory for the GMP and non-GMP production and distribution of radiopharmaceuticals. Working closely with the Logistics, Purchasing, Development and Commercial manufacturing teams, the Materials Coordinator will proactively review production schedules, receive incoming goods, organize material disposition, and maintain material information and inventory records to ensure that customer orders are fulfilled on time.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage receiving for both products and materials
- Manage flow and inventory of material between different buildings and sites
- Complete daily inventory transactions including inventory transfers, inventory adjustments and disposals in the inventory database
- Monitor inventory for quantity, lot status and expiration dates as per QA requirements
- Manage disposition of non-GMP and GMP Raw materials
- Plan, oversee and participate in the materials management operations and activities
- Create and update standard operating procedures (SOP's), as required
- Recommend practices to ensure effectiveness and efficiency of strategic initiatives and inventory/warehouse management
- Develop inventory strategies that minimize financial impact and recommend processes to manage materials
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely manner
- Work alongside purchasing to work within approved budget for all materials and products
- Drive continuous improvement of the supplies movement and inventory level optimization to minimize errors, and improve efficiency

**Required Education/Experience**:

- 3-5 years' experience or relevant supply chain, warehouse/ distribution operation
- Certificate in supply chain or related disciplines or equivalent qualifications in business administration
- In depth knowledge of warehouse operations, materials management, logistics and supply chain
- Understanding of WHMIS and SDS
- Deep understanding of Good Distribution and Good Warehousing Practices
- Experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing company an asset
- Strong communication skills: written and verbal
- Comfortable in a fast-paced small company environment; ability to work autonomously; flexible to adjust work load based on changing priorities
- Flexibility in hours to ensure production schedules are met and shipment of products is successful
