The Sample Receipt Technician is an entry-level position into the logistics chain. This position is given direction from the Logistics Supervisor and other logistics team members. The Sample Receipt Technician is responsible for the reception, setting up, and movement of samples.  Scheduled shifts will be Monday - Saturday from  10 AM - 6:30 PM.  Beginning in the Spring, rotational Saturday hours are  required  from 9 AM - 1 PM .  What you will be doing : Ensure samples are properly entered in the Laboratory Information  Management System and are available to laboratory staff in a timely manner. Document and report all sample integrity issues at all times. Process incoming non-sample deliveries properly. Ensure all safety procedures are followed. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Other duties as assigned. What you bring to the table: Intermediate computer skills. Ability to multi task, works well independently. Strong attention to detail. Organizational skills. Problem solving skills. Customer service experience an asset. Post-secondary Diploma or Degree in a Science related field is an asset. Some lifting and carrying (up to 10kgs).
