Sourcing Manager

Randstad is seeking a highly experienced Senior Manager Sourcing to join our client's Global Procurement team in Toronto. or Vancouver. This is a 10-month contract position with the possibility of extension. Position: Sourcing ManagerSalary: Commensurate with experience.Location: Toronto, ON or Vancouver, BCStandard: 8-4, 7.5 hours daily, 37.50 weeklyHybrid mode- 4 days in office, 1 day remoteAdvantagesThis position offers the opportunity to work within a collaborative and supportive team environment. The role will provide challenges and growth opportunities within a global organization.ResponsibilitiesWorking with the Director, Global Procurement – Functions, this role will: Communicate with internal stakeholders via emails, instant messaging, via video call or in-person meeting to discuss business requirements and sourcing project updates Coordinate sourcing activities with suppliers, including but not limited to RFPs Negotiate contract terms and pricing with Suppliers Coordinate contributions from various Centers of Governance Coordinate internal parties and suppliers to review and align on potential contract gaps Analyze opportunities and recommend sourcingstrategies/optimal course of action in compliance with company policies and processes Reporting and administrative activities in connection with contract and sourcing initiatives.QualificationsMust have: Experience in leading RFPs Experience negotiating and drafting contracts with minimal support from legal counsels Soft skills are key especially:o Storytelling and executive level communication management skillsNice to have:7+ years’ experience in Procurement rolesKnowledge of the management consulting and software categoriesSoft Skills:  time management skills, ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision Critical Thinking Growth mindset Analytical Skills Storytelling and executive level communication management skills Strong Business Acumen Achieving Financial targetsSummaryIf you are a highly skilled and experienced sourcing professional with a passion for technology and a proven track record of success, we encourage you to apply.
