As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Auto Body Refinisher / Painter to join our team.Job Summary:The Auto Body Refinisher / Painter is responsible for preparing and refinishing damaged vehicles to pre-accident condition using industry-standard techniques, tools, and materials. The successful candidate must be able to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, while consistently maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail.Key Responsibilities:Perform sanding, masking, priming, and sealing of repaired surfaces.Mix and match paint to ensure accurate color matching.Apply base coat, clear coat, and other finishes using spray equipment.Inspect and ensure the final finish meets quality standards.Follow standard operating procedures for safety and environmental compliance.Maintain a clean and organized work area.Assist in minor bodywork when required.Perform quality control inspections before and after painting.Work collaboratively with prep and body technicians to ensure workflow efficiency.Qualifications & Skills:3+ years of experience in automotive refinishing or painting.Red Seal Certification or Journeyman.Proficient in color mixing and blending techniques.Familiarity with waterborne and solvent-based paint systems.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in physically demanding conditions.Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.Must be legally eligible to work in Canada for any employer - no sponsorship is available now or in the future.Why Join MK Auto Group?:At MK Auto Group, we don’t just offer jobs — we build careers.
