We are committed to helping our clients build financial success through a personalized approach that draws on the full resources of RBC Wealth Management. The RBC Dominion Securities branch in Northwest Edmonton is looking for a resourceful, efficient and collaborative individual to join our Team as an Investment Associate.By providing ongoing, exceptional service and support to our clients, you will help our team deepen existing relationships and welcome new clients to the firm. As an invaluable Team member, you will play a key role in both general practice administration and maintaining client accounts, ensuring account administration and documentation remains up-to-date and compliant and working with the Investment Advisors in managing client portfolios and wealth management planning opportunities.What will you do?Execute investment trades and portfolio management as coordinated by AdvisorProvide trade surveillance and ensure accuracy of portfolio holdings relative to the Investment Policy StatementWork with Advisor to develop the investment models and portfolio rebalancingCoordinate position maintenance, book cost accuracy and execution of corporate reorganizationsMonitor fixed income maturities for reinvestmentProvide proactive client service with a focus on problem resolution and attention to details. Liaise with various departments for execution, where necessary.Administer estate adjustments and distributionRespond to client and related party inquiries (account transactions, requests for tax receipts, account reporting, etc.).Follow up on client trades to ensure proper settlement and deliverySupport Advisor team and client through the Wealth Management process and maintain audit of Wealth Management Activities and priorities.What do you need to succeed?Must-have (or working towards)Canadian Investment Regulatory Exam, CIREProfessional Microsoft Excel experienceHigh level mathematical skills and logical thinkingStrong time management and organization skillsNice-to-haveKnowledge of RBC Dominion Securities’ systems and proceduresExperience in the securities industry is an assetDemonstrated proficiency in providing world-class client service that will come across as professional, warm, and friendly to our clientsWhat’s in it for you?We thrive on the challenge to be our best, to think progressively to keep growing, and to work together to deliver trusted advice that can help our clients thrive and communities prosper.
