Located in Rosebank, MB this role is more than just a job—it’s a chance to plant the seeds of a growing career in Feeding the Future What you will do: Gain practical experience in seed breeding and crop development. Prepare plots, treat seed, and set up field trials. Operate small plot field equipment and maintain yield trial sites in multiple locations. Learn field data collection techniques and plant evaluation methods. Understand the lifecycle of seed development from planting to harvest. Develop skills in teamwork, communication, and agricultural problem-solving. Build confidence in applying knowledge to real-world agricultural challenges. Complete agronomic notes with accuracy and precision. Actively follow safety procedures, wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. Local travel (20% or more) may be required. What you will bring: A High School diploma or equivalent certificate is required. A valid Class 5 driver’s license. Demonstrate initiative and take pride in your work. Can adapt to outdoor, hands-on tasks in varying conditions. Able to stoop, bend, and walk for extended periods of time. Detail-driven, reliable, and safety-conscious approach. A positive attitude and a willingness to contribute to the success of the team. Post secondary education in agriculture is an asset but not required. Ready to make an impact with us?
