Join our team as a Forklift Operator/Loader. We need a calm and vigilant person to manage the movement of our diverse inventory. You will primarily operate a forklift to load and unload goods of all sizes and weights. Occasional manual lifting is required, with the ability to handle up to 75 lb loads.Must-Haves: A valid forklift license and established experience in a loading/unloading environment are non-negotiable.Schedule: Monday – Friday: 7am – 3.30pm orMonday – Friday: 4pm – 12:30am$20/hAdvantages- weekly pay- A positive, calm and respectful corporate culture.- A safety-focused work environment.- The chance to get to know the company and potentially obtain a permanent position if the opportunity arises.ResponsibilitiesResponsabilities of the forklift driver:- Loading and unloading: Handling freight in and out of trailers. Products come in a variety of shapes and sizes.- Forklift operation: Perform 75% of tasks using a forklift. Must have a valid license and previous experience in LTL loading and unloading.- Manual handling: Perform 25% of lifting tasks, with the ability to regularly lift weights of 50 to 75 pounds (approximately 23 to 34 kg).- Safety: Maintain a safe work environment and cooperate with the team. Compliance with safety rules is paramount.Qualifications-The forklift driver must :- have a valid external forklift license- have previous experience in LTL loading and unloading- be able to lift 75 pounds- hazardous goods certification (an asset)SummaryAre you the ideal candidate for this position?
