If you are an experienced operator looking for the opportunity to make a lasting impact in the Sarnia community, we would love to hear from youAbout The RoleCARSTAR Sarnia (High Tech) is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day operation of our collision repair facility. This role is responsible for overseeing production, estimating, customer service, quality control, and team performance in Sarnia, Ontario. If you are an experienced operator who takes pride in running a well-organized, high-performing shop, we would love to hear from you Key ResponsibilitiesOperations & ProductionOversee the complete repair process from intake through deliveryManage production flow, scheduling, and throughput to meet cycle-time targetsEnsure all repairs meet OEM, CARSTAR, and insurer standardsEstimating & Insurance InterfaceOversee estimating accuracy, documentation quality, and supplement executionAct as the primary day-to-day contact for insurers, including image desk and virtual appraisersEnsure files progress efficiently and in line with DRP requirementsDRP PerformanceOwn operational performance against DRP scorecards (cycle time, CSI, compliance, documentation)Proactively address issues impacting insurer performance metricsCustomer ExperienceEnsure a professional, transparent customer experience from start to finishHandle escalated customer concerns with confidence and careMaintain strong CSI and online review resultsTeam LeadershipLead, coach, and support all on-site staffManage scheduling, performance feedback, and day-to-day supervisionIdentify staffing needs and work with head office on hiring and trainingParts, Quality & DetailOversee parts coordination to support production flowEnsure consistent quality control throughout the repair processOversee final detail and delivery presentationQualifications5+ years of leadership experience in collision repair or a related automotive environmentStrong understanding of production management, estimating, and insurer interactionExperience working with image desk or virtual appraisal processesConfident people leader with strong communication and organizational skillsDetail-oriented, accountable, and results-driveBenefitsWork at a brand new facilityCompany EventsEmployee DiscountHealth and Dental BenefitsVision CareLife InsuranceGroup RRSP Paid Time OffCompetitive compensation with performance-based incentivesSupport from a well-established multi-location automotive groupAccess to centralized Operations, Training, Accounting, HR, and IT resourcesA stable, professional environment with room to growPIf610ff221472-30511-39302222
