Job DescriptionThe Marketing Specialist will play a key role in developing compelling marketing materials, supporting strategic initiatives, and elevating our brand presence across multiple channels. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Marketing Specialist will support a wide range of initiatives that help communicate our value to clients, and advisors, and the broader community. The work will span content creation, event support, and strategic projects. QualificationsResponsibilitiesExpectations:Develop booklets, case studies, presentations, articles, and website content that address the comprehensive wealth management needs and key concerns of high-net-worth clientsSupport advisor and client events by helping with invitations, promotional strategies, presentation materials, and contributing to the “Event-In-A-Box” initiative that makes hosting events easierLead marketing efforts for the Value Partners Charitable Foundation, including newsletters, articles, presentations and website updatesAssist advisors with custom marketing requests including presentations, videos, event invitations, and promotional materialsManage and grow the Value Partners LinkedIn page by developing and executing a regular posting strategyMonitor and analyze website traffic, email engagement, and video views, and provide recommendations to improve performanceCollaborate with other departments to fulfill marketing needs such as presentation support and internal communicationsAssist with marketing for VP Sports & Entertainment, including newsletters, website updates and social media contentContribute to special projects including revamping internal marketing systems and improving advisor tools Education & ExperienceBachelor’s degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field1-3 years of experience in a marketing role, preferably within financial services or a professional services environmentExperience with content creation & copywriting Technical KnowledgeProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)Experience with marketing platforms such as Constant Contact or similarUnderstanding of analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, LinkedIn Insights) Skills & AbilitiesExceptional written and verbal communication skillsStrong organization and project management abilitiesCreative thinker with keen eye for detail and designAbility to work independently and collaboratively across teamsComfortable managing multiple priorities and deadlinesPassion for helping clients and advisorsAdditional InformationComprehensive health, dental and vision benefitsHealth & Wellness Spending Account4% Matching RRSP allocationGreat workplace culture
