Title: Sr. Systems Testing/QA Specialist Location: Toronto, ON Duration: 5 Months Introduction We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Sr. Systems Testing/QA Specialist. This role involves providing expert advice on testing strategies, organizing testing efforts for large systems, and ensuring quality assurance across various projects. If you are passionate about quality assurance and have a strong background in testing methodologies, we would love to hear from you. Required Skills & Qualifications -expert experience in scripting, executing, and maintaining automated API/web service tests using: third-party tools such as ReadyAPI, SoapUI and Postman - design/coding techniques such as schema validation, parameter passing, and Groovy scripting -Hands-on testing experience with IBM WebSphere Application Server, Oracle, structured SQL-based query languages, and IBM API Connect platform. -QA testing experience (functional and non-functional) of ReST-based transactional web services in an n-tier Java EE server environment Preferred Skills & Qualifications Experience in at least one programming language Knowledge of testing methods in an object-oriented environment Experience with Azure DevOps for test case management Understanding of web service protocols such as SOAP, REST, HTTP, XML, and JSON Day-to-Day Responsibilities Provide advice on testing strategy, test plans, and selection of testing tools Plan and organize testing efforts for large systems in both GUI and non-GUI environments Develop and execute test plans, test scripts, and test cases Collaborate with project teams in the analysis, design, development, and support of systems Participate in user acceptance testing and ensure quality assurance principles are applied Company Benefits & Culture Inclusive and diverse work environment Opportunities for professional development and growth Comprehensive benefits package For immediate consideration please click APPLY to begin the screening process with Alex.
