RQ09608 - Sr. Systems Testing/QA SpecialistAbout the job RQ09608 - Sr. Systems Testing/QA Specialist RQ09608 - Sr. Systems Testing/QA Specialist Onsite / 21 College Street, Toronto Security Level: CRJMC Scope: Contribute towards testing activities for the delivery and product management life cycle of the CDT Integrations project. The resource will be responsible for the following activities: Lead in the development of test strategy, preparation of test cases / scenarios, test scripts, regression test cases/scenarios required to verify solution and system. Manage all test activities including stress/load testing. Execute test scripts to verify solution. Develop and maintain automated test scripts. Execute the automated test scripts and create test reports. Reconcile, manage, record and track system or functional defects, break/fixes identified during unit and user acceptance testing. Communication with project manager and developers to ensure application quality and alignment with project timelines Review functional and design specifications to ensure full understanding of individual deliverables. Identify test requirements from specifications, map test case requirements and design test coverage plan. Identify any potential quality issues per defined process and elevate potential quality issues to management. Develop, document, and maintain functional test cases and other test artifacts like the test plans, test scripts, test data and data validation. Automate all the test cases using automation scripts. Supervise the executing of manual test cases and report test results. Oversee the documentation of software defects and track resolution and communicate defect related issues to project team. Development of test plans, test cases and test scripts to validate the functionality of various modules. Ability to create test plan, test cases and test scripts to validate those changes made to the application. Plan, facilitate and support User Acceptance Testing and lead UAT sessions. Provide guidance to the business users during User Acceptance Testing Review user documentation and provide feedback to improve application alignment and clarity of the information. Management and maintenance of defect log and communication of defect related issues to project manager and project team Working closely with QA teams and developers, leading triage sessions and ensuring appropriate prioritization of defects Working closely with the client lead, prioritize, schedule and remediate defects. Prepare test data sets that mimic real-world scenarios, ensuring the data covers a wide range of cases and scenarios. Ability to create and execute database queries to extract relevant data. Execute and evaluate manual/automated test cases and report test results. Hold and facilitate test plan/test case reviews with cross functional team members. Write automation test script using Selenium, JMeters, and Python or Java. Must-Have's: 8+ years of demonstrated QA experience, including leading QA teams, defect tracking using a collaborative tool to manage defects and change request and to communicate status of these to all project participants Knowledge and experience in all phases of the Systems Development Life Cycle Experience on Automation testing script using Selenium, JMeter, Python or Java.
