Over the past 16 years CMN has expanded to 11 locations throughout Central Alberta, which includes two rail terminals. Crop Management Logistics, a subsidiary of CMN supports that vision and our retail locations by providing logistic services.Facility Operator at CMNReporting to the Operations Lead at the location, the Facility Operator supports the daily efforts of ensuring our equipment, facilities, and warehouse are running as safely and efficiently as possible.  With a strong focus on a positive customer experience, they direct customers throughout the location, unload/load product (chem, seed, fertilizer) and deliver product to farm when required.  To maintain accurate inventory and account management, the Facility Operator works with the Sales and Administration team at the location to ensure the details of the sale and paperwork is complete. This role is key to CMN upholding our core value of ensuring we get our customers the right products in the right place, at the right time.   ResponsibilitiesProvide regular updates on inventory levelsFollow maintenance schedules for all equipment and CMN AssetsComplete required Health, Safety & Environment documentationAssist with the receipt or loading out of product (bulk chemical, seed and fertilizer) to the warehouse; using a loader/forklift Assist customer pick-up/internal transfers of productDeliver product to local customers; contact customer for location and arrival time if required.  Ensure the facility is keep clean and free of hazardsGreet and direct visitors and customers who arrive at the location for serviceWork with Sales & Admin team to ensure a smooth customer experienceFollow Health, Safety & Environmental policies and proceduresQualifications Class 5 licence requiredAble to operate a forklift, loader and tractor Be able to work with minimal supervision Be self-motivated, a self-starter and be well organized, must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Must have ability to follow safety, production and quality requirements Must be able to use applicable computer systems for inventory and customer account management.
