Company: Fengate Property Management Ltd.Title: Building Operator (Permanent)Compensation: $41.20Shift: 40 hours per week – 5 daysReports To: Operations ManagerLocation: Concorde OfficePosting Period: December 5, 2025 – January 5, 2026OPPORTUNITYThe Building Operator will work independently and will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and maintenance of a diversified portfolio of buildings as well as periodically provide backup to other commercial building operators on rotating basis to ensure proper cross training is in place.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESOperate, maintain, inspect, and test HVAC, electrical, plumbing, chemically treated water systems and life safety equipmentRespond to tenant requests and close out work orders in a timely mannerMaintain daily operations log and maintenance recordsMonitor construction to ensure base building systems are protected and not altered or damagedSupervise outside contractors and staff as required to ensure completion of tasks as obligated with minimal disruption to the tenants and the building.Manage and maintain, providing a clean, safe appealing buildings and property at all times including but not limited to base building mechanical and maintenance areas.Ensure all Life and Safety documents are current, displayed and practiced while performing dutiesRespond to emergency calls on a 24-hour basis for a group of commercial buildings on call basisOther duties as assignedRequirementsKEY QUALIFICATIONSMinimum 1 year experience in building operations and maintenanceService driven with excellent interpersonal, communication (oral and written) and organizational skills; able to cope with changing client needs and deliver successful results within agreed upon timeframesDetail oriented; able to resolve problems using facts and sound reasoningSelf motivated, professional and flexible; able to work both independently and as part of a teamMust be friendly and courteous with professional imageFire safety knowledge an assetWHMIS certification an assetBES level I and II an assetValid Drivers license with clean drivers abstract CORE COMPETENCIESBeing Authentic –Inspiring trust and being courageous.
