We are currently requesting resumes for the following position: Procurement Specialist Resume Due Date: Thursday, November 20th, (5:00PM EST) Job ID: 25- Number of Vacancies: 3 Level: MP3 Duration: 6 Months Hours of work: 35 hours per week Location: Pickering Work Mode: % on Site Job Overview Supply Chain Operations support Monitoring the progress of procurement on the project, using dashboards and reports Removing barrier to procurement placement Ensure all Request for Quotes are moving efficiently through the procurement process Following up with vendors to ensure purchase orders are progressively Support expediting procurement requests as required Qualifications 3-5 years, Supply Chain experience specifically with a strong understanding of the procurement process from when the need is identified to when the parts arrive on site Business acumen, Working with vendors Supply Chain certification would be ideal Our client is dedicated to promoting employment equity and encourages applications from equity-seeking communities including but not limited to: Indigenous Peoples, racialized individuals, persons with disabilities, and women.
