Mid Market, Account Executive

Job DescriptionThe Account Executive will play a crucial role in achieving Assent’s growth objectives. The Account Executive is experienced at developing relationships with all levels of clients including senior executives. This role requires a high performing individual who is driven to succeed and thrive on the challenge that comes with taking a new product to market including building a territory from scratch. Prospect and sell to New Logos  Establish and develop an account-based Sales Strategy to achieve sales quotas.Follow a systematic Sales Process to progress prospect sales campaignsWin new customers through self-sourcing activities, research, responding to leads and building exceptional internal and external relationshipsManage a complex sales-cycle to prospective senior executives and/or multiple constituencies within an organization (Manufacturing Operations, Demand Management, Finance, IT)Manage all sales activity and forecasting of revenue in SalesForceBe familiar with corporate security policies and follow the guidance set out by processes and procedures of Assent.QualificationsWe strongly value your talent, energy, and passion.  It will also be valuable to Assent if you have the following qualifications: 1-2 years previous sales experience with SaaSExperience in a start-up sales environment will be viewed favourablyTenacious, highly motivated hunter who has achieved or exceeded sales quotaAbility to penetrate and sell to executive-level decision-makersThe ability to identify existing and emerging client needs and to articulate the corresponding benefits of Assents offeringsExcellent questioning techniques, listening skills, and analytical capabilitiesSelf-sufficient in the development and delivery of all sales cycle artifacts including presentations, proposals, etc Experience working with CRM toolsMust be an articulate, persuasive and passionate communicator with excellent oral, written, and presentation skills in EnglishAt Assent, we believe in embodying our core values of perspective, joy, diligence, depth, integrity, fearlessness, and optimism.
