Description IG Machine & Fibers Ltd. is a manufacturer of quality commercial and residential roofing products and part of the IKO Group of Companies. We presently have an opportunity for a Process Engineering Co-Op (8-month or 12-month contract) to join our team based in Brampton, Ontario beginning in January 2026. Please note, this is a Safety Sensitive position. Key Responsibilities:Assist with large ongoing project to update our Standard Operating Procedures/Standard Working Instructions/checklistsOrganizational work in the computer system using Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)Lead continuous improvement projects to solve technical issues and improve process performanceDrive the implementation of lean manufacturing strategies and troubleshooting toolsObserving the production floor to figure out sequence of events, and assist with process mapOrganization of documentation systemsAssist with Health and Safety administration as requiredOther administrative duties as requiredQualifications:Enrolled in or new graduate of an Engineering or Technical ProgramTech savvy – highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPointExperience with compliance documentation or processesGreat deal of energy and driveGreat organizational skillsPossess great initiativeAbility to learn quicklyFlexibilityISO 9001 understanding or experience – an assetWage:$22/hour - $25/hourBenefits of Employment: IKO recognizes that its success is due to the strength of its employees.
