Job Description: Conduct proactive and reactive patrols across the main site and associated facilitiesMonitor surveillance systems and perform patient watches.Respond to incidents, intervene when required, and use de-escalation techniquesInvestigate routine incidents and complete clear, detailed, and accurate reportsEnforce parking, smoking, and other site-specific by-laws, policies, and proceduresLead or support emergency responses (e.g., fire, flood, power outage)Ensure all shift documentation, audits, and key controls are completed accuratelyReview shift paperwork and documentation submitted by staffTrain and mentor new team membersCoordinate scheduling for last-minute book-offs or sick callsPerform additional duties as assignedJob Requirements:Minimum 6+ months healthcare security experience required6+ months supervisor experience preferredValid Ontario Security LicenseValid First Aid & CPR - Level C (from a WSIB-approved source)Proof of double COVID-19 vaccinationA copy of immunization records (Measles, Mumps, Rubella [MMR], Varicella, and TB Skin Tests - Step 1 & 2) Completed immunization for Measles, Mumps, and Rubella are required at the time of hire.
