Specialists from Kingston regularly hold clinics at the hospital. The range and scope of those clinics continue to expand as the hospital grows. Emergency services, operating 24 hours a day, see in excess of 26,000 patients per year.Job Description:Proactive & reactive security patrols of main site and outlying facilitiesPatient WatchesResponse to incidents and interventionDe-escalationSurveillance monitoringReport writingInvestigate routine incidentsParking and smoking enforcement/by-lawsPolicy awareness and enforcementAdditional Duties as AssignedJob Requirements:Minimum 6 months healthcare security experience requiredValid Ontario Security LicenseValid First Aid & CPR - Level C (from a WSIB-approved source)Proof of (minimum) double COVID-19 vaccinationA copy of your immunization records (Measles, Mumps, Rubella [MMR], Varicella, and TB Skin Tests - Step 1 & 2) Completed immunization for Measles, Mumps, and Rubella are required at the time of hire. Applicants who are not immunized or are otherwise unable to provide their MMR immunity at the time of hire will not be deemed eligible for the position.
