As a lawyer, you will act as a legal advisor to all City services. More specifically, you will be called to: Act as a legal advisor to the City services; Draft regulations, policies, directives applicable to the City and its citizens; Draft, analyze, and comment on contracts; Draft, analyze, and comment on procedural documents and may be called to make representations before the courts; Collaborate with services to safeguard the interests of the City and ensure regulatory compliance; Conduct legal research and monitor recent developments; Analyze and comment on draft laws and regulations and inform City services of changes and their impacts; Support and contribute to the development of the organization's legal knowledge. The ideal profile for us Hold a bachelor's degree in law; Have six (6) years of relevant experience; Be a member in good standing of the Quebec Bar. Open and motivated to work on diverse topics.
