Job DescriptionWe are currently looking for a motivated individual to join our team at our Montreal East (Quebec) site, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Reporting to the inventory supervisor, you will be responsible for coordinating daily store operations, including inventory management, receiving, and shipping materials. You will be expected to actively participate in tasks with the inventory clerks (your team) while ensuring that the tasks performed by your team are carried out efficiently, safely, and in accordance with procedures. What you'll be responsible for: Coordinate the daily tasks of inventory clerks while ensuring the integration, training, and coaching of new employeesCommunicate organizational objectives and performance indicators to your teamParticipate in performance evaluation and disciplinary management processesConduct OHS follow-ups on the application of rules and assess employees' needs for personal protective equipmentEnsure that the receipt, storage, and distribution of products and spare parts are carried out in accordance with proceduresBe the point of contact for urgent requests Participate with the team in cyclical inventory countsMaintain order and cleanliness in stores and workplacesBe actively involved in continuous improvement projects related to stores and inventoryReplace team members as neededQualificationsTo join our team: Hold a DEC, AEC, or DEP and have 3 to 5 years of experience in a supervisory role in an industrial, operational, or warehousing environmentHave experience in inventory management and validationCommunicate effectively in French and English, both verbally and in writingDemonstrate strong decision-making, coordination, organizational, and team supervision skillsBe able to manage multiple files simultaneously and meet multiple deadlinesHave a strong focus on quality and serviceBe comfortable with technology and computer toolsBe able to use analysis reports and quickly assimilate new informationExperience in forklift operation is an assetAdditional InformationAmerican Iron & Metal (AIM) and its subsidiaries are equal opportunity employers.
