We are currently searching for qualified Chief Engineers to join our team and be a part of Algoma's dry-bulk fleet. The dry-bulk fleet is composed of both gearless bulk carriers and self-unloading vessels.

The Chief Engineer is directly responsible to the Captain and designated Engineering Superintendent for the safe and proper management of the Engine Room Department.

Candidates must possess:

First-Class Engineer, Motor Ship issued by Transport Canada STCW Certificates Marine Medical issued by Transport Canada Canadian passport or permanent residence status Ship Security Officer
