WHAT YOU'LL DOThe summer Co-Op will provide the Architecture student an opportunity to gain technical experience in the field of architecture. The individual will be exposed to all aspects of the project design and have the chance to work on unique and interesting projects. This individual will work in a multi-discipline design studio working under the supervision of the Project Architect. The position requires the ability to receive specific and detailed instructions regarding architectural tasks. Looking for an individual who takes the initiative to either work out or research a work effort and understands his/her capabilities and when to seek help from mentors. The position requires the collaboration with other drafters/designers, the ability to follow directions and schedules, work independently, possess good written and oral communication skills as well as the ability to problem solve. Must be team oriented, self-starting and focused on producing good design in a most efficient manner and meets expectations for attendance and punctuality. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSMust have graduation date after August 2026 to be eligible.Must be pursuing an Architecture degree from an CACB accredited program or a current graduate student pursuing a Master’s degree in Architecture.Must include a portfolio with application.Knowledge of Revit.Client projects for this position require Canadian Citizenship. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONSBasic skills in AutoCAD, Sketch-up, and 3D MAX.
