Basic QualificationsMust have completed a recognized apprenticeship and hold a CFQ 306A or 307A (if a Certificate of Apprenticeship has not been attained, applicants with 8 years of experience in the trade after receiving the CofQ will be considered)Must be proficient in the installation, repair, and maintenance of industrial steam, wastewater, and process systemsRequired to work in a multi-disciplined fast paced work environment where Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, People, Maintenance, and Environment (SQDCPME) are the focus of all organizational objectivesPreferred QualificationsPreferable candidates should be capable of effectively performing their duties with minimal Supervision and be capable of working independently. Applicants must be willing to upgrade certain skills if required.Must be willing and able to perform work on a rotating three-shift basis with extended hours and work weeks as may be required.We thank all applicants for their interest, but only those selected for an interview will be contacted. Ford of Canada is an Equal Opportunity Employer and is committed to a culturally diverse workforce.
