They are a leading organization recognized in the community for its commitment to providing youth in need with a safe environment and access to services to help them achieve independence and foster growth.Are you passionate about youth homelessness and mental health?The Pod Group is partnering with this amazing organization to place a hands-on, detail oriented and kind Manager, Community Integration.WHY YOUR ROLE MATTERS🔍The Manager, Community Integration provides strategic oversight and leadership to internal and external programs supporting youth within a Housing First for Youth framework. This role leads the Community Integration team in delivering high-quality, youth-centered services that build the skills, confidence, and capacity needed for successful transitions into housing, long-term housing stability, and improved life skills. The Manager is responsible for program design, implementation, quality assurance, and partnership development, ensuring services are trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and aligned with best practices in youth homelessness prevention. Working collaboratively across departments and with community partners, the Manager ensures programs effectively support youth in areas such as tenancy readiness, housing maintenance, independent living skills, community connection, and overall well-being, while monitoring outcomes and continuously improving service delivery.HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT🎯Program Development and Service DeliveryProvide leadership and oversight to the Community Integration team delivering youth-focused programming within a Housing First for Youth frameworkOversee the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of internal and external programs that support youth transitioning into housing and maintaining long-term housing stabilityEnsure programs are high quality, trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and aligned with evidence-based and Housing First for Youth best practicesSupport youth skill development in areas such as tenancy readiness, housing maintenance, independent living, community connection, and overall life skillsBuild and maintain strong partnerships with internal departments and external community agencies to enhance service coordination and outcomes for youthMonitor program outcomes, service quality, and performance indicators to ensure accountability and continuous improvementProvide supervision, coaching, and professional development to Community Integration staffEnsure programs comply with organizational policies, funder requirements, and relevant legislationCompile statistical information and prepare monthly reports as required for program evaluation and development.Champion youth voice and choice in program design and service deliveryParticipate on committees and task forces as required with other agencies addressing issues facing youth.Foster and model the importance of connection and belonging in building a positive and supportive work environment, using decolonized and anti-racist frameworks, to all staff. Housing Stability & Landlord EngagementContribute to planning, reporting, and evaluation related to youth housing and community integration initiativesProvide oversight of housing support services that assist youth in securing, transitioning into, and maintaining safe and stable housingLead strategies that support positive landlord engagement, including relationship-building, issue resolution, and collaboration to sustain tenanciesOversee housing-related supports such as move-in planning, tenancy sustainment, and coordination of housing stabilization resourcesAddress housing-related risks proactively by supporting early intervention strategies to prevent evictions and housing lossAll other duties as required in the successful management of program operations while partnering with all stakeholders in support of organizational success.WHAT YOU WILL BRING🎓Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Child and Youth Work, or related field. Masters in a related field is considered an asset. Additional training and certification in housing, homelessness, youth services, etc. is considered an asset.A minimum 3 years of experience working as a supervisor/manager in the housing and homelessness sector. Youth-specific experience is preferredDemonstrated experience in project management or coordination of large scale community programs.Strong knowledge in supporting racialized vulnerable youth with trauma-informed and violence-informed practices and care. Proven experience with development and facilitating training and workshops. Excellent communication, facilitation, presentation and collaboration/engagement skills.Understanding of issues relating to youth homelessness and the barriers youth face in attaining and maintaining their housing, as well as an understanding of the broader housing sector in Peel. Experience in providing leadership and recruiting and supervising staff.Cultural competency sensitivity and commitment to working through an EDIB, anti-oppressive, anti-racism framework. Experience working with budgets, funding proposals, and completing funding requirements. Flexibility to work in a 24/7 operation while supporting an on-call rotation.Valid CPI and/or UMAB certification and First Aid and/or CPR certification. A valid Ontario’s full G Driver’s Licence is required, with a clean driver’s abstract. A $2,000,000 minimum liability car insurance coverage is also mandatory.Completion of a successful Vulnerable Sector Check/Criminal Record Check will be a condition of employment.
