Reporting to the Principal Consultant & Practice Lead, Global Benefits you will provide superb services to our global clients and global partners. Your goal — supporting the growth of our global practice and maintaining positive client relationships, helping clients and prospective clients know about all the Cowan Benefits Ltd. services, helping colleagues thrive and grow. What you will do:Business Development: Identify and pursue client expansion and cross selling opportunitiesDrive new business opportunities and expand market presence Contribute to the growth of our global practice, by meeting growth targetsClient Management:Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clientsDesign and deliver client-specific, competitive plan design concepts that align with evolving market trends and client objectivesProvide ongoing education, support, and expert guidance to established client contacts, positioning yourself as a trusted consultantManage satisfaction, profitability & retention of client book to achieve targetsManage the full sales and implementation process, ensuring high-quality execution and client satisfactionOversee all aspects of ongoing plan management Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of services and solutions tailored to client needs.Learning:Build knowledge and stay current with industry trends, best practices ®ulatory requirements.Performance Metrics:Revenue targets (size of book $500K+) Profitability of bookNew business targets($30K+)Client satisfaction & feedbackRetentionFunnel developmentWhat you will bring: 3-5+ prior years of industry & consulting experience Completed post-secondary education or a combination of equivalent professional experience and training Life License (LLQP) license or willingness to obtain, requiredGroup Benefits Associate (GBA), Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) (or working towards designation) would be an asset Strong social skills and confidence required to succeedCustomer-centric, friendly and professional at all timesDemonstrated consultative approach to sellingExceptional organization skills with an ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectivelyHighly developed sales and customer service skillsHigh level of self-motivation, with the ability to perform effectively with minimal supervisionExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenExcellent computer skills and knowledge of MS Office productsProficiency with social media and willingness to work with emerging digital toolWho we are:Proudly independent and Canadian-owned, Cowan Insurance Group has been a true market leader in the insurance industry since 1927.
