Senior Consultant - Global Benefits (Hybrid) Join the Cowan Insurance Group as a Senior Consultant - Global Benefits (Hybrid). Reporting to the Principal Consultant & Practice Lead, Global Benefits, you will provide superb services to our global clients and partners, supporting the growth of our global practice and maintaining positive client relationships. What You Will Do Business Development: Identify and pursue client expansion and cross‑selling opportunities; drive new business opportunities and expand market presence; contribute to the growth of our global practice by meeting growth targets. Client Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients; design and deliver client‑specific, competitive plan design concepts; provide ongoing education, support, and expert guidance; manage satisfaction, profitability and retention of client book; manage the full sales and implementation process; oversee all aspects of ongoing plan management; collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of services and solutions tailored to client needs. Learning: Build knowledge and stay current with industry trends, best practices and regulatory requirements. Performance Metrics: Revenue targets (size of book $500K+); profitability of book; new business targets ($30K+); client satisfaction & feedback; retention; funnel development. What You Will Bring: 3‑5+ prior years of industry & consulting experience; completed post‑secondary education or equivalent professional experience and training; Life License (LLQP) required or willingness to obtain; Group Benefits Associate (GBA), Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) or working towards designation is an asset; strong social skills and confidence; customer‑centric, friendly and professional; demonstrated consultative approach to selling; exceptional organization and prioritization; highly developed sales and customer‑service skills; high level of self‑motivation; excellent communication skills (verbal and written); excellent computer skills and knowledge of MS Office; proficiency with social media and willingness to work with emerging digital tools.
