The ideal candidate will have prior experience driving a school or childcare bus and must hold a valid Class 1 or 2 driver’s license with an “S” endorsement Key ResponsibilitiesDriving groups of children to and from school throughout the day.Supervising during pick-ups and drop-offs.Actively engaging with and supervising school age children during field trips and at the centre.Cultivating positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.Adhering to Alberta Early Learning and Child Care Regulations and Active Start's policies and procedures to ensure quality care.QualificationsA Class 1 or 2 driver's license with an "S" endorsement to drive the bus Clean driver's abstractLevel 1, 2 or 3 Child Care Certification (or willing to obtain)Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong organizational and multitasking abilitiesProfessional, adaptable, and fluent in EnglishKnowledge of Alberta Child Care Licensing Regulations (preferred)Why Join Active Start?
