ResponsibilitiesProducing technical design and contract documents in collaboration with project teams. Working with senior team members to validate that designs and deliverables conform to technical guidelines, code requirements and regulations. Provide technical design solutions for construction including interior and exterior assemblies. Coordinating internal production teams.Coordinating with project sub-consultants. Providing technical mentoring and leadership to less experienced technical staff. Assisting a dedicated site team and preparing documentation for contract administration.QualificationsDegree or diploma in architectural or building technology from a technical college7+ years’ working as a technologist or technician for an architectural consulting firmExperience leading BIM projectsConstruction site experienceExperience with BIM principles & workflows, REVIT software, Microsoft 365 environment and Bluebeam is requiredProfessional registration in a provincial association dedicated to technologists will be considered an assetBilingualism (English and French) is considered an asset.Ability to obtain Reliability and Secret level security clearance (mandatory).CompensationAB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT:$69,700 – $92,300 MB & ON:$63,600 – $87,500 NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC:$62,900 – $83,600Disclosure:The final salary awarded for this role may vary from the above range based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
