Come inspire us through your dedication, creativity and exceptional performance - we'll do the same for youKEY RESPONSIBILITIES Execute an annual national marketing and sales program for the successful introduction, sale and marketing of the CONMED General Surgery PortfolioExecute national product launch plans to include (but not limited to); strategic pricing, marketing communications, product promotions, inventory levels, medical education, sales training and sales forecastsRepresent the product portfolio at regional trade-shows, meetings and cadaveric labsDevelop technical expertise and extensive market knowledge within the product portfolio to provide support to the sales team through education, product/technique updates, dissemination of relevant clinical research, field visits, competitive intelligence, in-servicing and the promotion of new and existing products across CanadaMaintain constant communication with the Canadian sales & marketing team, international sales and marketing colleagues, and clinical KOL’s to develop working knowledge of customer, market and competitive trendsSupport sales team in field with product demonstrations, medical education evaluation of new technology, new business implementationAssist sales and management team in the completion of national and regional RFP’s/RFQ’s/RFI’sProvide product training at Canadian new hire sales training as well as in-house training sessions as requested by various departmentsRegularly communicate with the Medical Education & Events department to support and execute external and internal events, cadaveric labs and tradeshowsExecute inventory management tasks including (but not limited to): SKU rationalization, inventory management & field inventory investment analysisOther duties as assigned by your managerQUALIFICATIONS:Strong communication skills, both written and oralStrong presentation skillsAbility to work autonomouslyA strong comfort level in a clinical setting (operating rooms, hospitals, etc.)Self-starter with the ability to show significant initiativeHigh energy level with strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitudeExceptional social skills in order to build relationships with internal stakeholders and customersEDUCATION:Post secondary education/University Degree (BSc/BA health related discipline or business preferred)Marketing and/or Medical background or experience an assetWORK EXPERIENCE:3+ years medical device Sales and/or Marketing experience requiredGeneral Surgery specific experience preferredREQUIREMENTS:Ability to work occasional evenings and weekendsTravel (up to 30%)Proficient in Microsoft Office programsValid G driver’s licenseBilingualism is an assetWHY CHOOSE CONMED?Not only is CONMED Canada recognized as a Great Place to Work but it also offers a wide array of perks and benefits to fit your unique needs Competitive CompensationEmployer funded Health and Dental Benefits and Extended Healthcare ServicesEmployer Funded Pension ProgramMentoring and Career Development Programs and OpportunitiesHealth Care Spending AccountLifestyle Spending Account3 Weeks’ Paid Vacation to StartWellness Days“Dress For Your Day” Dress Code AttireFlexibility/Hybrid Work ModelSocial ActivitiesEmployee Recognition Program and EventsEducation ReimbursementSummer Recharge ProgramAn Inclusive and Engaged Work Environment
