Vocational Rehabilitation Service Specialist (VOC RSS)Status: Permanent Full-time Opportunities Location: Remote; Work from Home, Ontario, Western and Atlantic CanadaPartners in Canadian Veterans Rehabilitation Services (PCVRS), a national provider for Veterans Affairs Canada, is now welcoming Veterans and their families into a newly expanded Rehabilitation Services and Vocational Assistance Program. The Rehabilitation Program provides access to medical, psycho-social and vocational services to help ensure a successful transition to life after service for Veterans. The Vocational RSS has a passion for working amongst motivated, diverse and engaged teams. As part of a strong and professional team, you make a difference at the personal and community level by ensuring veterans achieve their employment goals and receive the best support possible.What You’ll DoBe part of a team of Rehabilitation Service Specialists in the delivery and coordination of Rehabilitation Services for program participants Assist the team to provide superior participant-centered services that lead to successful outcomes in a timely and efficient manner Establish and meet caseload and performance metrics Ensure service standards and outcomes meet and exceed requirements Coordinate all assessments, interpret reports, and provide recommendations for services to support Participants to reach their rehabilitation goals  The RSS will also coordinate any assessments required for VAC’s Financial Benefits Programs (IRB and CFIS) outside of the Rehabilitation ProgramCoordinate and conduct Vocational Rehabilitation and Vocational Assistance assessments and interventions What You BringCertified Vocational Rehabilitation Services Professional (CVRP), or a Certified Vocational Rehabilitation Services Professional - Fellow (CVRP -F), or Career Counsellors registered with the Ordre des conseillers et conseillères d'orientation du Québec. A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in the direct provision of medical, psycho-social and/or vocational rehabilitation services (or a combination thereof) to Participants Experience conducting medical, psycho-social and/or vocational rehabilitation assessments Experience working with persons living with mental or physical health problems creating barriers to civilian life Experience analyzing and interpreting medical, psycho-social and/or vocational assessments and making recommendations based upon critical analysis of information leading to the development of a comprehensive plan and program of care, and; Experience working with a variety of health professionals and disciplines in an interdisciplinary team environment. Preferred Criteria:Bilingual (French/English)Experience working with employers, community resources, and training institutionsPreference given to qualified former CAF membersWhy Choose Lifemark?Competitive salaryComprehensive and flexible health and dental benefitsOngoing learning and development opportunitiesA diverse and inclusive workplace with a track record of high employee engagement and teamworkInclusionWe are committed to creating an inclusive environment where people from all backgrounds can thrive.
