**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a **Vocational Rehabilitation Consultant** to assist clients who are unable to return to their previous employment due to injuries. The consultant will conduct vocational assessments, develop **return-to-work (RTW) plans**, and complete detailed reports required by the insurance companies. This role requires collaboration with **private insurers, employers, and healthcare professionals** to facilitate vocational planning and successful job transitions.

**Note**: Sessions can be conducted either virtually via Telehealth or through in-person visits. For in-person sessions, any additional mileage costs incurred will be covered.

**Responsibilities encompass**:

- Assess clients’ functional, psychological, and vocational limitations due to injury.
- Conduct vocational assessments, including Transferable Skills Analysis (TSA), Labour Market Surveys (LMS), and Vocational Evaluation Reports (VER) to determine suitable alternative employment options.
- Develop individualized return-to-work (RTW) plans and recommend job accommodations, retraining, and career transition strategies.
- Provide career counseling, resume development, interview preparation, and job search support for clients.
- Prepare detailed reports and recommendations based on vocational assessments and RTW strategies.
- Advocate for clients by coordinating services with healthcare providers, employers, and insurers.

**Education, Training, and Experience**:

- Registered and in good standing with the College of Vocational Rehabilitation Professionals (CVRP), including a valid registration number.
- Experience working with insurance clients in vocational rehabilitation is preferred.
- Strong report writing skills, particularly for TSA, LMS, and vocational assessment reports.
- Knowledge of the BC labor market, disability management, and return-to-work planning.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent communication, case management, and problem-solving skills.
