Reporting to the Area 9 Seniors Health Manager, you will be in a crucial role supporting Home Care and you will have the opportunity to make a lasting impact on the lives of our clients while gaining valuable experience in a leadership position. You will lead and manage a dedicated team of individuals, drive the achievements and goals of the Home Care department, and nurture strong relationships with partners and stakeholders. By facilitating change and promoting team development, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of our healthcare services. You will actively engage in client care, addressing concerns, and participating in planning discussions. In addition to a competitive rate of pay, AHS currently has a Remote Retention Allowance in place up to an annual maximum of $3,000. This allowance is non-pensionable and is payable on an hourly basis for all hours paid at the basic rate of pay. Required Qualifications: Proven clinical and leadership skills. Superior organizational skills. Evidence of strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills. Evidence of initiative, flexibility, and creativity. Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, physicians, community agencies, professional colleagues, volunteers, and the community. Evidence of strong commitment to excellence in patient care, Continuing Care accountabilities and knowledge of Assisted Living Alberta. Ability to function effectively in a dynamic work environment information in this field.Additional Required Qualifications: The incumbent will possess a record of accomplishment in the following areas: Effective communicator with strong organizational skills, influential skills, client focused orientation and commitment to providing quality services. Leadership skills, including demonstrated ability and comfort with decision making responsibilities, coaching and teaching, and the ability to inspire and build confidence in others. Demonstrated ability to manage change. Ability to manage human, financial, and physical resources within an operating environment. Proven ability to foster partnerships and to achieve organizational goals within an organization and ideally managing within a unionized sector. Strong track record in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Effective leadership abilities combined with a strong commitment to operating within a team environment and the ability to motivate and inspire others to achieve common goals. Excellent analytical and decision-making skills.
