Title: Visual Display Assembler Location: 8300 Huntington Rd, Vaughan, ON, L4L 1A5 Pay Rate: $20.00/hr Excellent Benefits Hours: 7:00am to 3:00pmWhat you’ll do: Assemble display boards by placing ceramic, porcelain, and natural stone tiles and mosaics onto particle board, melamine, sintra board, and MDF  Perform carpentry or painting work from time to time Placing, gluing, and grouting tile to boards Cleaning tile surfaces and boards Perform inspections and quality checks on product boards and materials to ensure quality control Installing and dismantling of displays Recommending creative and new design ideas to management Perform general duties such as product inspection, packing/repacking pallets, strapping/re-skidding product as required Carries out general housekeeping duties to ensure a tidy and clean workplace and workspace Works in accordance with communicated standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols at all times May be required to track output, manually or electronically as required for the purpose of establishing and maintaining KPIs What we are looking for: Team player with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic  High school diploma or equivalent required At least 6 months experience from a similar environment is preferred Demonstrated ability to work with broad job-related instructions as duties are straightforward, repetitive and involve different but related processes and methods Ability to work overtime as required Demonstrated accountability for quality, accuracy and adherence to work instructions with occasional checking Demonstrated ability to follow established standards and processes Ability to work collaboratively as a team and independently as required to execute production targets and departmental goals Ability to perform manual tasks with a steady hand and strong attention to detail Ability to work under tight deadlines Ability to work effectively while making improvements to work more efficiently Why join our team?
