We are currently seeking a Claims Account Administrator to report into our New Westminster office.Responsibilities:Accurately enter claims and financial data in various client databases and reconcile with our internal claims systemPrepare financial and data reports as requiredCreate client loss runs and liaise with clients to clarify and confirm needsTroubleshoot data conflicts directly with clients and examinersEnsure claims are opened in a timely manner and in conformity with client data standards by researching and understanding the nuances of loss report detailsQualifications & ExperienceGrade twelve diploma; however a post-secondary diploma in Office Administration will be given preferenceFamiliarity or previous insurance claims experience will be a definite asset2-3 years’ experience in an administrative support role is requiredPreviously demonstrated ability to execute high attention to detail and strong analytical skillDemonstrated ability to manage changing priorities and proven organizational skillsDemonstrated behaviours showing initiative and follow-up skillsDemonstrated ability to maintain a high level of confidentialityDemonstrated professionalism and work ethicProven ability to contribute to and work well within a team environment, as well as work independentlyIntermediate experience with Word and Excel skills are requiredAll other computer applications – must have the aptitude and ability to learn as required​Detail Oriented with a customer service focusEnvironment/Working ConditionsPositive team dynamicsAll prospective employees must pass a background checkTime allocation estimations are subject to changeCompetitive Salary - $39K to $51K AnnuallySCM Insurance Services and affiliates welcome and encourage applications from people with disabilities.
