Quality Control Analyst

Survalent is looking for a Quality Control Analyst to join our Quality Assurance team and support the delivery of reliable, high-performance software solutions for the energy and utilities industry. In this role, you will play a key part in validating product requirements, designing and executing test cases, and recreating customer-reported issues to drive effective resolutions. You will work closely with Product Development, Customer Support, and Sales teams to improve product quality and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities and Essential Function: Verify and validate product and project requirements Analyze requirements, design test scenarios and manage test repository Prepare and manage tthe est environment Execute functional, performance and integration test cases Develop and maintain test automation scripts and packages Report defects, and follow up on resolutions Support customer and sales teams with technical consultancy Collaborate with Product Development Teams to build the most reliable solutions Other duties as assigned Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in computer/electrical engineering 2+ years of experience in software testing, system integrations, mobile and web applications Practical experience in the software development lifecycle, configuration, and release management Familiar with waterfall, iterative and agile methodology (JIRA/Confluence Exceptional inter-personal skills, effective verbal, and written communication skills Self-motivated, proactive with a strong work ethic and the ability to operate under pressure Strong analytical skills, multi-task, organized and a keen eye for detail Be a good team player This is a full-time permanent position reporting to the Quality and Control Release Management Manager.
